“Throughout this entire exhibition, the artist Simon Black will be living in the Special Projects Gallery. He will do all necessary functions to survive, such as eat, drink, sleep, clean, and excrement, and will not leave the space until his exhibition has ended. His time in there will be spent stacking masses of objects he will have collected and have dispersed throughout the gallery space. From these, he will be continuously creating a series of ephemeral, stacking art.”
Location/Date Performed: Special Projects Gallery, Toronto, Ontario. October 25-30, 2009.
